              EL CENTRO — First responders throughout Imperial County rung in the New Year as they responded to numerous reports of fireworks or gunshots.

              From 11 p.m. Thursday to 1 a.m. Friday, a variety of calls for service were made to local dispatch centers. The following reports were found county radio scanner traffic:
