Plans taking shape for future vaccine rounds

EL CENTRO – As the county opens its COVID vaccination program to persons in the second tier of Phase 1a, details are beginning to emerge for Phases 1b and 1c.

Limited vaccine availability forced the county to prioritize distribution within Phase 1a of the state’s vaccination plan according to risk groups. Those groups are organized into three tiers.
