IV HIGH: FFA students pick award-winning animals

The sight of 1,000 chickens lined up outside in cages, the sound of chickens clucking and running around, and the smell of dust coming off the chickens are all part of the picking process.

Southwest FFA students are getting ready for fair this year and are choosing the animals they will show. They are looking for specific characteristics that make their animals superior to others.
