Imperial prepping for state recycling mandate

IMPERIAL — Time is ticking for jurisdictions across the state to comply with Assembly Bill 1826, which has made organics recycling mandatory for certain commercial and multi-family operations.

Since 2016, the bill has required these operations to recycle their organic waste, with full implementation due by 2021.
