IID shutoff moratorium ends today

IMPERIAL — A good percentage of Imperial Irrigation District customers who were facing disconnections for not paying their energy bills entered into payment plans prior to today’s deadline.

About a month ago the IID board of directors approved ending the moratorium today to give ratepayers fair warning to make arrangements with the utility to keep their power on.
