    EL CENTRO — Creating statewide access to broadband internet service may be a matter of law, but there’s a significant cost that comes with it.

    At Tuesday’s Imperial County Board of Supervisors meeting Imperial County Office of Education Superintendent Todd Finnell discussed the BorderLink Expansion project that would bring Internet access to rural areas within the county.
