What is the President’s Circle?

It is an exclusive benefit club for members of the El Centro Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau.

Why was the President’s Circle developed?

It was developed at the request of member businesses that often sponsor events or purchase tables at Chamber functions. They wanted a better way to plan in advance for the best use of their marketing budget.

Is this a new idea for chambers?

Frankly, no. The Chamber is borrowing a concept successfully implemented in dozens of chambers across the western United States. We reviewed the sponsor club programs of similar chambers and adapted them to fit the needs and desires of our members here in El Centro.

Why would my business want to be a member of the President’s Circle?

For three reasons. One, your business will be able to budget in advance your level of sponsorship and participation in the Chamber. Two, you can arrange for the funds, logos, artwork and necessary descriptions only one time during the year. Three, you will receive additional benefits not available to the general membership.

What is the term of President’s Circle benefits?

The President Circle benefits begin July 1 of each year and run for 12 months.  Enrollment into the President’s Circle begins in April of each year and runs through June 30.

Is there a limit to the number of businesses that can join the President’s Circle?

Yes.  The Chamber Board has established limits for each category.  Members who are interested in joining the President’s Circle program are encouraged to call the Chamber and inquire about the availability of the different levels.

Do I need to pay the entire amount at one time?

No. A payment plan can be developed for you. As long as the full amount is scheduled to be collected within 4 months of enrollment, you will begin to receive full benefits right away.
